About LETCHWORTH & BALDOCK LIONS CLUB

41 years ago Letchworth & Baldock Lions Club was formed as part of Lions Clubs International, the largest community service organisation in the world, with over 1.4m people worldwide. We work in, with & for the community, to enrich people's lives. When there is a disaster Lions are there and our ethos is that 100% of the money donated goes to the community which ensures that there are no illegal happenings or corruption - Lions clubs around the world are given the money to distribute it best in their community be it international, national or local - Tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, drought & famine and any other disaster plus supporting vulnerable people, which might be in the area.
There are no paid members of the Lions Clubs International organisation, from the International President down, other than employees who run the offices.
