Summary
Cheering on our ACT runners on the day to keep them motivated and supported!Detailed description
We will be sending a team of volunteers to cheer on our Team Addenbrooke’s runners over the 26.2 miles course. Joined by the runner’s friends and family, we will be based at St Pauls church, Shadwell, around mile 13.5. This spot also allows us to cheer runners on again at mile 22.5. This is a great meeting point if your families would like to join us. The church will have singing, hot drinks, BBQ and WC open to the public. Thanks to the immensely generous support of our donors, Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals can provide a level of patient care beyond that which can be delivered by NHS funding alone and make projects happen sooner or to a greater degree than might have otherwise been possible.
Charitable donations fund high-tech equipment, specialist staff, extra comforts and vital research to find potential cures and help save lives locally, nationally and worldwide.
