Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer to support adults with learning disabilities working alongside fulltime staff and other volunteers.Detailed description
Volunteers will be working alongside full time staff to deliver sessions and support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and brain injuries.
The service delivers person-centred support for attendees to achieve their personal or professional goals. Support can be delivered 121 or group sessions. Sessions are delivered based on feedback and planned throughout the year including life skills, vocational skills, sports, arts, music, theatre, horticulture and more.
This is an ideal place for people to bring their personal passions to enrich the lives of people who haven't had access to many opportunities.
About Woodhall Opportunities Project - SJOG
Woodhall Opportunities Project is an award winning Learning Disability day service with co-production in its heart. We offer opportunities to adults with LD, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury and other conditions a place to develop, learn and have fun. Volunteers have the option to undertake mandatory training or further develop themselves from a suite of training including a care certificate.
