St Clare Hospice is a charity providing specialist palliative care to improve the lives of people affected by a life-limiting illness in West Essex and the borders of East Hertfordshire. Our care helps patients, their families, and carers, to make the most of every moment together, no matter how long they have left to live. We support them both at home and in the Hospice.
We have more than 500 volunteers who regularly give their time in every area of our work, including on our Inpatient Unit and in our charity shops, and we couldn’t deliver our expert care without them. Volunteering for St Clare Hospice is a great way of giving something back to your local charity that supports people at one of the most difficult times in their life.
