About RNLI Hitchin and District Branch
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a charity dedicated to preserving and saving lives at sea and on inland waters. Staffed almost entirely by volunteer crews and support staff, the RNLI is wholly dependent on public donations. The Hitchin and District Branch holds a number of fund raising events including market stalls and flag days as well as attending other festivals and fairs. The Branch welcomes supporters and volunteers to held man these events both on an occasional and regular basis.
