Summary
We are looking for outgoing people to attend events to help us raise donations at our charity events through the year.Detailed description
This role involves:
- To attend events chosen by the charity
- Work closely with the Lead Fundraiser to understand the requirements of the fundraising events, Charity story and aims.
- Liaise face to face with the general public to encourage instant and recurring donations.
- Help set up and pack down equipment for events, and may include manual handling of tables, chairs, banners, and gazebos.
- Handle cash, donations, change as per our cash handling policy.
- Understand all the fundraising channels available to the public and be able to explain how they can donate, support and follow us.
- Wear a Pumpkin’s T-shirt at fundraising events.
- Suggest new ideas and initiatives and to attend fundraising meetings when appropriate.
