The Letchworth Festival is an annual community-run festival that is staged in June. Its aim is to celebrate the varied culture of Letchworth, by running an exciting programme of events throughout the garden city.
The Letchworth Festival is planned and run by a steering committee of who are all volunteers. We are looking to recruit several new enthusiastic local people to join this steering committee. You will get involved in staging the 2023 festival, and will help us to plan ahead for subsequent years.
We are looking to fill the following volunteer roles:
- Treasurer to manage the finances of the Festival
- Secretary to provide the organisation and co-ordination for this varied event programme
But ... we also welcome interest from people who wish to volunteer, and who can bring other skills too. For example event planning and management experience, publicity and marketing, or fundraising. And much more besides.
