Summary

Managing our money!

Detailed description

We are seeking an organised individual (or organised individuals) to be the Treasurer or Bookkeeper for our Village Hall - an important community asset which is 100 years old next year.

We are looking for one or two people (depending on the time you have available) to issue and track invoices to those hiring the hall, pay bills, report on finances to the Committee who meet monthly and arrange an annual audit by a third party.

As a finance team volunteer, you are also welcome to become a Trustee of our charity, although this is optional. As a Trustee you will be required to attend monthly committee meetings and help the team manage the running of this great local venue.

This role is critical in helping the village hall support the Ickleford community and the wider Hitchin, Letchworth, Royston etc community who also use the Hall.

The hall is also looking for volunteers for other bits & bobs, so if finance isn't your thing, there's bound to be something you can help with! Please get in touch.
