An opportunity to socialise and interact with older people, helping with serving of refreshments, clearing tables and chatting to visitors.Detailed description
Young at Herts social club is an afternoon of dancing, great entertainment, conversation and laughter, for people over 55. We attract 30 to 50 people on a day. The project will run once a month on a Wednesday from 1.30 to 3.30pm till March 2025 at each location.
We have three clubs running in Letchworth.

We are based in Letchworth G.C and Welwyn G.C, but our housing stock extends beyond the famous Garden Cities, into many other areas of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. We manage both general needs accommodation and supported housing for older people and people with learning difficulties; but we are much more than just a landlord.
We provide a range of services which contribute to the wellbeing of our local communities, including our community visiting Service for older homeowners in Letchworth and our weekly Kingfisher Clubs for people with dementia in Letchworth, Welwyn and Welwyn Garden City.
