Summary
We're looking for volunteer drivers to help support of our community care services.Detailed description
Volunteer drivers are the backbone of our community care services. You'll help ensure our staff and services reach those who need them most by transporting:
- Staff between CLCH sites.
- Nurses on home visits to patients.
- Medical equipment between locations and to patients' homes.
Locations
- Borehamwood (and vicinity)
Availability
- Monday - Sunday, 4 Hours per week
Help us deliver care in the community
- Driving safely and reliably.
- Providing a courteous and professional demeanour.
- Following established routes and schedules.
Gain Valuable Skills
- Improve your time management and organisational skills.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
- Gain experience volunteering within your community.
Desirable Qualities
- Access to your own reliable vehicle in good working condition.
- Valid driver's licence and appropriate car insurance coverage for volunteer activities.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Patience and a caring personality.
- DBS Required
- Minimum 6 months commitment
