Detailed description

Calling all Prehistory Fans and Outdoor Fanatics!

  • Looking for a new opportunity, something a bit different?
  • Looking to volunteer in a beautiful woodland setting?
  • Looking to gain experience working in practical history education?

The Celtic Harmony Education Traineeship is a 3-6 month voluntary program wherein the participant will join the Celtic Harmony education team and develop their knowledge of the Stone Age and Iron Age through the delivery of talks and practical demonstrations.

Come and volunteer for 1-2 days per week at our reconstructed Iron Age village, complete with seven roundhouses and learn how to make fire from friction, shape spearheads from flint and many other skills as you take students back in time.

If you want to find out more, sign up for our Taster Morning on June 5th which will feature a site tour, live skills demonstrations, Q&A and the chance to meet our educators.

We look forward to welcoming you to Celtic Harmony!
