Canoe Slalom World Championships - September 2023 Volunteering Opportunities

Would you like to help out at a major international event this summer?

Join our team of volunteers and be a key part of bringing the 2023 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships to life!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us in showcasing the world's best canoe slalom athletes competing at the Lee Valley White Water Centre, Waltham Cross, between 18 - 24 September 2023.

Built for the London 2012 Olympic Games, Lee Valley White Water Centre is renowned across the globe as one of the best white water courses in the world and in 2023 will play host to around 300 of the world's best athletes from across 50 countries as they battle it out across a week of high octane competition.

We have a range of volunteer roles available across the event, both pre-event and during competition. You don’t need to be an expert about canoe slalom, or have even volunteered before, we will find a role to suit you.

Alongside the amazing experience of volunteering for an event, successful applications will also receive British Canoeing Canoe Crew kit for the event (polo, waterproof and hoodie), training for your role, discounted camping locally and your meals whilst on duty.

When you're not volunteering, you’ll also be able to enjoy the action and see the best canoe slalom athletes showing their skills during their runs down the course.
