Summary

As a Wellbeing and Activities Volunteer you will be participating in activities that enhance the overall well-being and quality of life of the people we support

Detailed description

Activities may include:


• Supporting the activities team with events and daily activities

• Supporting Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams.

• Engaging individuals with arts and crafts, music, or other creative activities.

• Socialising with residents and fostering a sense of community.

• Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests • Assisting individuals in accessing resources and activities within the local community.

• Organising and leading your own creative sessions, if desired!


How often we would like your support: Ideally, we hope you will choose to volunteer 3-6 hours a week, however all our roles are flexible.


What we hope you will bring to the role:


• A friendly and supportive approach.

• Reliability and trustworthiness.

• Effective communication skills.

• An understanding of the importance of working within guidelines and always report anything of concern to a supervisor.
