Summary
If you love gardens, you will know they need a lot of care and attention. In this role you will be helping with everyday practical tasks to keep centre gardensDetailed description
Activities may include:
- Clearing overgrown areas or developing sensory sections in the garden
- Engaging in general garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, hedge cutting, raking, and deadheading
- Planting flowers, plants, or vegetables
- Sweeping paths and removing leaves to maintain a clean and tidy garden environment
- Help with planning and development of our outdoor spaces.
How often we would like your support: Ideally, we hope you would volunteer every week or fortnight; however, all our roles are flexible.
What we hope you will bring to the role:
- A basic knowledge of plants
- The patience and ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Reliability and trustworthiness
- A friendly and supportive approach
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation
