Summary

Volunteers required to help run our free upcycling workshop for students with minor mental health or learning issues

Detailed description

We are seeking volunteers with an interest or talent in woodwork, upcycling, painting and reupholstering to assist our tutor run a free course on Tuesdays for people with minor mental health or learning issues. Each course runs on Tuesdays and is 8 weeks long.

We also require workshop volunteers to come in other days to upcycle pieces of furniture for us to sell in our store and raise much needed funds in order for our independent charity to continue.

Getting there

Parking available on site. Nearest train station is Rickmansworth and plenty of buses go to Rickmansworth High St which is a few minutes walk from our store.

We help people on MEANS tested benefits by offering a free referral scheme which allows them to purchase white ticket items in our store at 50% off the marked price. We also run a free 8 week furniture upcycling course to individuals with minor mental health and/or learning issues. Our final aim is to reduce landfill
