JOCA Fest

We are a local charity supporting general wellbeing and good mental health in our local communities. We hold an annual music festival with the objective of getting together, having fun, making friends and raising awareness of the need for wellbeing and JOCA.

On 19th June we will be looking for help with clearing down the event. This is usually the least popular day for volunteers however it is unfortunately really important and gets done so much more quickly with a big team so we really would be grateful for a good number to help out.

Activities will include:

• Collecting and moving various items (some large and heavy)
• Heavy lifting and moving
• Taking down stages, bars, fencing etc
• Taking down tents and small marquees
• Litterpicking

Particular skills we need are:

• Handymen/women, trades people (electricians, fitters etc)
• Fit people able to lift and move heavy items
• People with vans/trucks to help move items
• General helpers

We are a fun-loving, friendly and welcoming team and whilst it is hard work, setting up JOCAFest is always a really exciting and fun time. We will happily support any individuals wishing to use the event towards Duke of Edinburgh, college, Uni or other.
