Are you an outdoor person, do you like gardening?

We are looking for gardeners to tend to gardens for the elderly. General tidying up, lawn cuttings. Most duties will not involve working with electrical tools apart from the lawnmower.

To undertake basic level gardening. You should like helping others less able, you should like working outdoors

About Welwyn Hatfield Community and Voluntary Services

The Welwyn Hatfield Community and Voluntary Services (WHCVS) provides support and advice to Voluntary and Community Organisations as well as to individuals in Welwyn Hatfield area by acting as an central agency for those who need assistance and those who are volunteering their services for this purpose. In addition, we also operate the WHCVS Community Car Scheme which transports residents in the Welwyn Hatfield Borough who have difficulty using public transport. We transport to hospitals appointments all over the county and to London specialist hospitals.
You will also find that the Volunteer Centre Welwyn Hatfield is integrated into the work of the of the WHCVS. We develop and promote local voluntary and community groups in order to improve the quality of life for all.
