The opportunity is to act as a steward for Scott's Grotto to welcome visitors and inform them about the site and it's history.
We open to the public each Saturday afternoon from the beginning of April until the end of September. Stewards are invited join a Rota by selecting days, usually 2 to 3, during this period which suit them. They staff during the the Grotto and it's grounds during the afternoon with two other Stewards and are responsible for welcoming visitor, answering questions and monitoring activity on site. Training will be given. This is a great opportunity for meeting and interacting with visitors from all walks of life and widely varying parts of the UK and indeed the world. The Stewarding role is vital in enabling us to make the Grotto available to the public and to help maintain this fascinating heritage site. Visit our website and take a look at our virtual tour.
