Summary

Setting a fundraising strategy and establishing the charity's fundraising needs and overseeing the fundraising for track and new building.

Detailed description

You would join the leadership team of dedicated trustees, who are engaged in the advancement of sport in Hertfordshire, for the public benefit, through the provision of the athletics track at Abbey View. The Charity is in an early phase and is looking for enthusiastic and hands-on individuals to assist on a voluntary basis. 


We are looking for trustees with experience of fundraising for large projects, preferably in the sports field. You would be helping to ensure the development of a track and building facility that will provide 1st class provision for all ages and abilities of athletes in the district, as well as building a community based around sport.


Setting a fundraising strategy and establishing the charity's fundraising needs. Making sure the charity is compliant with the law when fundraising, including having the correct licenses and agreements in place and to consider the impact of campaigns on the charity's reputation. Regularly reporting on fundraising progress, plans, and achievements. Guiding, supporting, and challenging fundraising volunteers.
